This module shall enable the learner acquire knowledge and understanding of the various pharmacological agents and their use in Clinical Medicine and Community health.

By the end of this module unit, the learner shall be able to:

  • Identify the pharmacological agents used to treat the various systemic disease conditions.
  • Rationally prescribe various pharmacological agents used to treat the various systemic disease conditions.
  • Administer various pharmacological agents used to treat the various systemic disease conditions.
  • Monitor and manage adverse drug reactions.
